I was getting a bit shaggy so went to my barber. He was not there but someone else was cutting hair. I like my guy so figured that this guy would be good as well.
Whoops. I am letting my hair grow out a bit (had it short for a year or so - been growing it long for the last 3-4 months). I explained to this fingy* what I wanted. Leave the length, clean it up and get it over my ears. He proceeded to "neaten up the back a little bit" - took off about two inches. Needless to say #1) - I didn't let him do anything else, #2) - he didn't charge me and #3) - I look pretty stupid. Going to another barber to get it repaired sometime in the next few days. And, all the while he was talking about how he went to this party and got blackout drunk on Tequila.
He was working on someone else when I walked in and I had this feeling that I should excuse myself and leave. Serves me right for not listening...
