Waking up to rain, rain and more rain...

Coming down slow and steady. Right around 0.5" for the last 24 hours which is not a lot but it is enough to flood the farmland.

Change in plans this morning - heading South for a craigslist deal so taking care of that at Noon. Bellingham tomorrow and Monday instead.

And then, there is this little bundle of joy from the National Weather Service:

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 PM PST THIS EVENING...

    • WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
    • WHERE...San Juan County, Western Whatcom County, Western Skagit County, Everett and Vicinity and Admiralty Inlet Area.
    • WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 10 PM PST this evening.
    • IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

All the weak branches have already been blown down so should not be any problems but still... Keeping the candles and flashlights handy.
