Voting while on welfare

An interesting correlation:

I have zero problem giving people a hand up when they are down but it should never be an institutionalised lifestyle.
If you have been on welfare for more than 12 months, should you have the right to vote? I would say no.
If you are not contributing to society, you should not have input into how it is being run.

But, then again, I'm raycisss or something...
