A good preemptive move - Minnesota

From FOX News:

Minnesota’s Walz declares state of emergency prior to Derek Chauvin verdict
Gov. Tim Walz, the Minnesota Democrat, declared a state of emergency Monday night in the counties around Minneapolis as the city prepares for the verdict in the Derek Chauvin murder trial.

Fox 9 reported that Walz held a news conference to lay out his plans to maintain security. He said the state is bringing in police backup from Nebraska and Ohio. The report pointed out that the Minnesota Senate approved $9 million in emergency funding to deal with potential unrest.

Good move - this is going to make the long hot summer look like a tea party. I lived through that time - was 16. Cities were erupting in violence. Now, the gloves are off.  People are coordinating through social media.  This is all Obama's legacy. He wanted to institute division so we could be Balkanized and controlled.  He got it.

Very glad I no longer live in a city. Toxic places.
