Bad pump. Ran into town to get a new one. This is not unexpected as the old one was over ten years old but still... Everything seems to last about ten years. The HVAC people are telling me that I really really really should replace my heat pump. The plumbing people said that my water heater was on its last legs. Household appliences seem to last only 8-10 years before needing expensive repairs. Automobiles the same.
