Caitlyn Jenner To Enter California Governor’s Race as a Republican
Could another celebrity governor be in California’s future?
Earlier today, after weeks of speculation, the artist formally known as Bruce announced their intent to enter California’s governor’s race as Governor Gavin Newsom faces a likely recall.
“California has been my home for nearly 50 years. I came here because I knew that anyone, regardless of their background or station in life, could turn their dreams into reality. But for the past decade, we have seen the glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people. Sacramento needs an honest leader with a clear vision,” Caitlyn Jenner wrote in a statement announcing the filing of the paperwork to run.
“I have been a compassionate disrupter throughout my life, from representing the United States and winning a gold medal at the Olympics to helping advance the movement for equality,” she continues.
She then cites a handful of issues the state is facing, before getting a dig in on Newsom: “This isn’t the California we know. This is Gavin Newsom’s California, where he orders us to stay home but goes out to dinner with his lobbyist friends.”
I remember when Pigasus was a viable Presidential Cantidate. Jenner could not be a worse governor than Newsom.

Despite Caitlyn Jenner’s transgender identity, LGBTQ activists are not happy with the former Olympian’s bid to oust Gavin Newsom as governor of California.
Shortly after Jenner made the big announcement that they would run for governor, LGBTQ activists were upset that Jenner would be running as a Republican.
'Scuuuse me but... If you want to have someone you approve of as Governor, find someone to run.
It is really that simple.
Caitlyn is running for the entire population of California and not just a percent or two. The entire homosexual spectrum encompasses about 5% of the US population. They are not the majority in any sense of the word. There should not be any discrimination and they must have the same rights as any non-homosexual person but that is where this ends. Period. You do not get to ram this down the rest of our throats. You do not get to set the agenda for everyone.
Now, shall I call a whaaambulance or are you just going to let the butthurt flow through you.
God but I detest activists. Self-centered little onanists. Willfully ignorant of the consequences of their actions.
