Nothing happening in the real world that I can see.
Slept in - meeting up with some people at 1:00 PM and also working on some page design for a friend. Paperwork for tomorrow's meeting. The usual stuff...
Dog walk and coffee first - got my priorities after all.
Out of conduit for my wiring project so heading up there after the 1:00 PM meetup. Need about 30' of #8 stranded wire (50 Amp service to the welders), some 1" EMT conduit, some 1" angles and couplers and other assorted gubbins.
Also picking up 40' of 1/2" EMT (electrical metal tubing - AKA conduit) - need about five feet for my current work but like to keep a couple sticks of it on hand for future projects. The farm mentality is strong with me. If I am in the big shitty buying any hardware, I like to buy more than I need so I have a reserve here for future needs. This has saved my bacon many many times.
The barn swallows are getting huge - they were so tiny in their nest but I can see the reason for the size of the nest now. Smart parents. It is about 20-30 days between hatch and fledge so they should be ready to leave the nest pretty soon. I'll be destroying it as it is right in my doorway. Put up some nesting boxes this fall for next year.
