Time to vege out on some YouTube videos. Sleeping in tomorrow. Meeting up with someone at the storage unit for a Craigslist deal (I have several units at the facility and this one is a very small one that I keep almost empty - not advertising anything else there).
Looking at heading to the farm sometime Monday evening for an overnight - bring another van load of stuff down to sort.
Still thinking about adopting the new Shepherd dog - she has a really high drive. Neither Bear nor Truffle are high drive and I do like my peace and quiet. Mandy would be best with a growing family with active kids. Sweet critter but not a good match for this household.
Did a couple loads of laundry, refilled the hummingbird feeders. Have a bee feeder out as well but not getting very many - I was slammed last year. Nice weather - I like the cool mornings with the clouds burning off around Noon.

Greedy little buggers - using the porch light. Did not want to use a strobe so they are a bit blurry. Three of them. Mom and Dad were close by letting me know of their displeasure. After these babies are fledged, that nest is going to be taken down and I will make a point to watch next spring in case Dad tries to rebuild it. Make some nest boxes over winter and get them up before they come back.
Had a very nice Marantz turntable come in to the thrift store. Belt driven turntables sometimes have problems with the drive belts ageing and falling apart. This one was no different:

A replacement belt is on order and I will spend a few hours cleaning it up. Everything else works great on it so it will be a sweet deal for the new owner. Going to list it for $200 - we could get more by selling online but we have such a large volume of items coming in that it does not make sense to spend the time packing and shipping. Someone local will come in, buy it and treasure it. Our group does a lot of really good work for the community and the store is one of our major sources of income. Price things cheap and move them out - make our money on volume.
