Used to do a lot of it - had a computer store in Seattle before mail-order was a "thing". When Dell and Gateway started undercutting the market, I got into DTP in a big way and emphasized the computer consulting aspect.
Doing a brochure and some marketing materials for a local business. Used to use the Adobe products until they went with the Software-as-a-Service model where you do not own the license, you pay a monthly fee. Fortunately, companies like Serif make excellent alternatives with their Affinity series: Designer, Publisher and Photo. Fantastic stuff, have used it on a couple of "prime time" projects before and it has performed flawlessly. Integrates well with the Adobe ecosystem so zero issues there so far. Been using Serif products for the last five years - nothing bad to say. Good stuff.
Winding down for the night though - time for one last surf, a few videos and lights out. Long couple of days. I picked up the stuff for the electrical work so start that when I get back from the farm Thursday.
