- Nassar was accused of being a former Taliban fighter who fought U.S. invading forces in 2001 in the Tora Bora mountains in Afghanistan
- He was never charged with a crime
- The release exhibits Biden's commitment to closing the prison for good
The Biden administration on Monday transferred a detainee out of the Guantánamo Bay detention facility for the first time, sending a Moroccan man back home five years after he was recommended for discharge.
So far, we have turned Afghanistan over to them with all of our equipment, electronics and intellegence.
Now, we are releasing the worst of the worst.
Do we want to fight the same war again in ten years?
Do we want another 9/11?
This administration certainly seems to be asking for it.
