Whoops - missed something there - Cleveland Guardians

The Cleveland Redskins changed their name to show the world just how stupid woke they are.  Only problem is that the team was named in honor of Louis Francis Sockalexis who was the first American Indian to play commercial baseball. They are now known as the Cleveland Guardians - after some statues: "The Guardians of Traffic"  They watch a bridge.

Thanks to Don Surber, we find out that there is already an athletic team called The Cleveland Guardians.

Social media is still buzzing over the Cleveland Indians’ choice of the Guardians name, since a roller derby team seems to already bear the moniker – and website.

But whether that poses any problems for the Major League Baseball club remains to be seen.
