Afghanistan - going back in

President Trump had a very solid roadmap for disengaging from the Middle East.
It seems our cultural elites do not want to do this - they like war. It makes their bagmen rich.
Some headlines:

That first link is priceless - Oh Pretty Please.  Please spare our little embassy when you sack Kabul.

The embassy would be the first place I would go - get the names of all of the people still in Afghanistan who helped us.  The tribal leaders who wanted a life of freedom.  The translators, the whistleblowers.  All of those people will be cruelly murdered in front of their family.  If their family is not murdered in front of them first. Taliban is the perfect definition of evil.

Actually, given their treatment of their native Muslim population, I would say: "let them have it" - keep them otherwise occupied for the next 20-50 years until they have enough and call it quits.

The people running this administration are incompetent.
I would not trust Pelosi or Schumer to run an ice cream cart let alone a Nation.
