Some soup and a slice or two of toast and that is dinner. The "funny" burrito at 1:30 filled me up nicely.
Front yard is looking a lot better - it needs four or five more days to get to where I want it. Planning to get rid of a bunch of the grass this winter and plant veggies next spring.
There are some drainage issues so I need to excavate and rehabilitate some existing French Drains. Been studying these and have a good idea of what I want to do. Interestingly enough, French Drains are named after Henry Flagg French - lived from 1813 to 1885 and it sounds as though he had an interesting life. Mr. French was an agriculturist (gentleman farmer), inventor, lawyer, judge, postmaster, assistant district attorney, and assistant Secretary of the United States Treasury.
