Back home now - got some smoked pulled pork thawing out for tacos. Good day for tacos. Of course, any day is a good day for tacos.
The thrift store had a glut of light fixtures in the last two months - people looking to "refresh" their houses for spring and deciding to update their fixtures. We would take in 10-15 every weekend and sell maybe one or two every other week if that. Had over 100 fixtures.
Habitat for Humanity runs a large building materials store 30 miles away. They sent a truck to us and were happy to take our surplus. They also took a bunch of excess hardware and a big pile of loudspeakers that had been accumulating. Win/win...
Been back for an hour - working in the garage this weekend as well as cleaning house. Sorting through all the wonderful possessions crap I brought down from the farm on Tuesday. Dump run, thrift store, Craigslist and eBay - keeping just a fraction of the stuff.
Time for dinner and then back to work...
