Noodles were "different" - ramen noodles are not a good substitute for fresh pasta. I am wondering if the acidity of the sauce caused the texture change. Ramen noodles are cooked in more basic (pH) water than "normal" pasta. Sauce was its usual goodness - got that recipe dialed in pretty well. Lots of onion and garlic. Love those alliums.
Been a long couple of days - sleeping in tomorrow, leisurely coffee and then a drive over to Whidbey Island to pick up a desk. Going to use it for my ham radio equipment. It is a design sold by IKEA for a few years - it really works for uses like this and they are hard to find. Fellow ham radio op is only asking $50 for it.
Windy and cold out. There are some (2-3) people on a small boat out there - been keeping an eye on them. No lights and it is getting dark. Crab season but still... Choppy waves and their boat is only 14 foot or so.
Time to see what the YouTube fairies have brought for me tonight.
