You had to be there - Barkey's Bestest Birthday party

They did not want photos posted on the internet - asked people to delete them.
Singer Erykah Badu did not get the message - hilarity ensues. London Daily Mail:

Erykah Badu apologizes to the Obamas for being THAT 'terrible guest' who sparked backlash by sharing mask-less party snaps of Barack at Martha's Vineyard 60th birthday bash

    • Hundreds of guests attended Barack Obama's 60th birthday celebration last Saturday
    • Pictures from the event, including footage posted by Erykah Badu
    • Following backlash online, the On & On star issued an apology to Barack and Michelle, 57, and removed her posts
    • 'Mr. And Mrs. Obama, Please forgive me 4 being the 'terrible guest' at such a sacred event for your family,' the 50-year-old Grammy winner tweeted
    • She has since removed the pictures from her social media account of the luau-themed party, that had been scaled back from 500 to 200 guests

Singer Erykah Badu has apologized to the Obamas for being a 'terrible guest' after sharing unauthorized photos from Barack's 60th birthday bash held at Martha's Vineyard.

The On & On star posted social media snaps of a mask-free Barack and Michelle, 57, dancing around hundreds of guests - that the former President will have no doubt wanted to have been kept private.

'Mr. And Mrs. Obama, Please forgive me 4 being the 'terrible guest' at such a sacred event for your family,' the 50-year-old Grammy winner tweeted on Thursday.

The footage sparked intense backlash online.

Some photos and video at the article, lots more online - the internet never forgets.

As for this being a super-spreader event?  Daily Mail again

At least 63 people on Martha's Vineyard have tested positive for Covid-19 since Barack Obama's maskless 60th birthday bash - the most cases on the island since April

    • A total of 63 people on Martha's Vineyard have tested positive for Covid-19 since former President Barack Obama's 60th birthday on Saturday
    • The spike in cases is more than any week since April on Martha's Vineyard
    • Health officials note it's still too early to know whether the hundreds of guests and workers at the maskless parties have contributed to the surge in cases
    • 'At this time we're not aware of any cases connected to the Obama party,' a Tisbury health agent and boards of health spokesperson told
    • 'It's a little too early and the only way we're going to know is through comprehensive contact tracing,' they added
    • Hundreds of people attended the party, flying in from around the country and congregating under tents where partiers danced, ate and drank the night away

Some 200 workers at the venue plus a lot of (maskless) people ate at local restaurants and stayed at local hotels. Practice what you preach.
