And here is how I spent part of my afternoon today

Having a nice conversation with one of Georgia's finest:

Flying down the interstate - speed limit is 70. Four-lane divided highway and everyone is going 80-85.  I take the connector to switch to another route.  This one is also four-lane divided highway.  I see the two cars at the bottom of the hill so I make a point to slow down to 70.  Blinkey lights come on and I pull over.

Turns out that the previous interstate I was on had a 70MPH speed limit.  The interstate I was going to had a 70MPH speed limit but the little five mile connector - the one that was four lanes and divided had a speed limit of 55MPH.  Nice little moneymaker there.  The officer's car was very nice and shiny and I am betting that their department is very well funded 😁

Oh well...  Now I know.
