Still a slow news day with one exception - Title 42

Great news from The Washington Times:

Supreme Court revives Title 42 border policy, orders full arguments
The Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the Biden administration to keep the Title 42 pandemic border expulsion policy up and running while the justices prepare to hear the legal challenge to the policy.

The oral argument was scheduled for February, but the move likely means Title 42 will remain in place through the early spring at least.

That gives the Biden administration another tool to use as it faces the chaos at the border, where unfathomable numbers of illegal immigrants have surged into the U.S., enticed by the Biden team’s relatively relaxed approach.

Title 42 was supposed to expire last week under a lower court ruling, but Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. put that on hold while he and his colleagues decided what to do about GOP-led states’ challenge to the district judge’s decision.

Good to hear - there are already policies in place for people seeking refugee status.
