They are using the UFOs to distract us from the environmental disaster unfolding in Pennsylvania. Things like railroad safety and their handling of accidents sit firmly in Mayor Pete's wheelhouse - he is our Secretary of Transportation after all.
If this was my job? Get the PA Governor to declare an emergency and that way, FEMA can move in with all of their hazmat and decontamination equipment. Get the crash cleaned up over the weekend and then start remediating the local environment.
The Sec. of Transportation froze. Nothing is being done except keeping reporters away from the scene and issuing lies as updates. A perfect example of a diversity hire. Another example of a liberal policy that sounds good but that does not actually DO good.
