Lori Lightfoot Blames Election Loss on Racism and Sexism, Says ‘I’m a Black Woman in America’
Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot is blaming her stunning election defeat on racism and sexism, of course.
Lightfoot came in third place, with just 17.1% of the vote — former Chicago Public Schools CEO Paul Vallas came in first with 33.95% and Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson came in second with 20.32%.
The mayor was speaking to reporters about her loss on Tuesday evening when one of them asked if she had been treated unfairly during her campaign.
“I’m a black woman in America — of course,” Lightfoot replied.
How about the fact that you were promoting "the narrative" and not representing your constituents.
She was in profoundly over her head and she is so blinded by her indoctrination that she can not see the truth.
The citizens of Chicago spoke.
