Came back from this morning's town run to find Lulu busy at work on her new ride:

Decided to bag tonight's training session - feeling very tired and the prospect of driving home at 9:00PM is not a pleasant one. This class is more for the CERT volunteers who will be walking the neighborhoods inspecting for damage. I will be on the radios communicating with them and relaying their information via ham radio to a centralized dispatch point (Net Control)
Dinner tonight will be spaghetti again but this time with carb-free noodles - give them a try. These are made with a type of yam, a relation to taro root. I had done some cold salads with them and they were good - there is a bit of an off-aroma when you open the package but rinsing in some water with a splash of vinegar removes this entirely. Try them hot tonight.
