Meeting went well. Need to check with the tech support on a couple things on Tuesday but should be easy enough to fix. Our water board just replaced all the 30-year old meters with new ones that feature remote reading. Works like a champ - our engineer just has to drive around in his truck and the remote queries each meter and writes the data to a laptop.
Only problem is that each meter reposds with a six digit ID number and we want to reference to the actual shareholder account number. See if this can be done with the software otherwise, I will write an Excell macro to automate the conversion. Simple enough.
Did a quick trip into town afterwards - some grocery shopping and a bit of electrical stuff needed for the meter reader.
Giving the last of the feijoada to the dogs, thawing out a flank steak for tacos tomorrow and doing some ham and bean soup for tonight's dinner.
It was supposed to warm up today and turn over to rain. It did about halfway into town but it is 30.4°F at the farm and still snowing. The roads are OK but it is accumulating. Today's afternoon forecast shows warmer and showers through Sunday so we will see what happens...
