Good dogs...

Some people say that dogs have no long-term memory, no anticipation and no thought for future goals. To them? BUNK!  They need to have their observational skills recalibrated with a two-by-four or baseball bat.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Grace was bad yesterday. She chased a passing bicyclist - she did not leave the property but she ran after him. She spent the night in the garage and was sheepish yesterday and sheepish this morning. She knew she fscked up. When I came home from morning coffee and errands, I stopped by a local butcher and picked up a bag of bones. When I came home, I put it away out of sight and proceeded to work in the garage. They always go with me and they know the butcher and saw the bag.

I spent today with the two best dogs in the world. So happy, so obedient. The apex was when two bicycles went by, Grace alerted on both but did not chase. Perfect. I finished work and fixed some dinner, ate it, put food out for the pups and then, brought out the bones. I now have two very happy critters gnawing away.

Turned into a nice day - sprinkles on and off but warmed up a bit. Worked in the garage - did not get to the music room. Tomorrow.
