The Modern Prometheus - Wuhan coronavirus

The Modern Prometheus is the second half of the title of the story that Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley wrote in 1816 - the one titled: Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. Let us not forget the history of Prometheus from Greek Mythology. He was the god who gave mankind fire but who was punished for this by Zeus and spends the rest of eternity chained to a mountain and has an eagle eat his liver. At night (the gods are immortal), the liver grows back so his torture is a daily event. (and I am grossly simplifying here - the myths are epic in scope and some incredible reading)

What made me think of this was the following paragraph:

This text is from a paper submitted by a research team, since withdrawn. The team was working at the lab in Wuhan. This is part of the documents that were leaked a few days ago.
