An example of what is happening in our cities - from Disrn:
Man accused of killing David Dorn had been sentenced to 7 years in 2014, never served a day
Stephan Cannon, the man charged with murdering retired St. Louis police Captain David Dorn during recent riots, had been previously convicted of felony robbery and sentenced to seven years in prison. However, the judge in that case suspended Cannon's sentence and granted the murder suspect probation, meaning Cannon never saw jail time.
Cannon then went on to violate his probation twice, but was offered leniency by the court and never sent to jail. The 24-year-old now stands accused of the murder of Dorn, who was attempting to protect the pawn shop of a friend the night of June 2.
Cannon's previous felony robbery conviction occurred in 2014, meaning had he been serving his seven-year sentence, he would not have been on the streets the night he shot Dorn.
Peaceful protest? Yes - absolutely. George Floyd's death was a tragic accident and Officer Chauvet should have not handled it the way he did. He will pay the price. The people being arrested are thugs and criminals and paid political activists brought in to amplify the narrative.
It is worth remembering that Floyd himself was not a choirboy - he was a convicted felon and served five years for a home invasion robbery where he held a gun on a pregnant woman.

All Crimes Matter!
