As businesses get torched, Chicago mayor pleads with retailers to stay in her criminal-friendly city
Several major retailers, including Walmart, have openly discussed leaving Chicago following looting and rioting in their stores.
It’s been reported that Mayor Lori Lightfoot participated in a conference call earlier this week with said retailers. The mayor said that she was begging them to stay in the city.
I want to let my voters act out whenever they want to but I also want that sweet tax revenue so I can keep funding the bread and circuses.
