Another cold dinner

Had some more shrimp as well as a large salad for dinner. Did not feel like cooking and was already at Costco and Walmart shopping today so didn't feel like driving back up for Thai food.

Still really smoky - a lot less by the ocean than inland but still have a salmon-colored sunset. Forecast is for more of same for a while. Fires all over - one story from the Everett Herald:

Winds kick up Northwest wildfires; Washington town destroyed
Wildfires fanned by high winds burned hundreds of thousands of acres in the Northwest, mostly destroying a small town in eastern Washington and causing evacuations, power outages and highway closures in Oregon.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee said Tuesday more than 330,000 acres burned in Washington in a 24-hour period — more than what burns in most entire fire seasons.

“It’s an unprecedented and heart-breaking event,” Inslee said at a news conference, blaming heat, high winds and low humidity for the explosive growth of fires. “The list of fires is long.”

'Tis the season... Hope that this will spur some better forest management. California is especially hard hit - the environmentalists policies are at fault here. The greenies own these fires. And the blackouts.
