Chicago violence: 51 shot, 10 fatally in Labor Day weekend shootings
Weekend violence continued to claim victims across Chicago over the long holiday weekend.
Fifty-one people were shot, 10 fatally, across Chicago over the weekend from 6 p.m. Friday until 11:59 p.m. Monday, including an 8-year-old girl who was fatally shot Monday while riding in a SUV on the South Side, according to Chicago police.
Black on black violence doesn't get any media attention. Black people murdered more black men, women and children in one weekend than the entire last year of white police officers. Black Lives Matter? How about cleaning up your own house and THEN start bullying the rest of us.
