Made some compost bins out of shipping pallets two months ago and have one completely full now and another well on the way. The stuff will settle as it ages so will continue to top them off throughout summer and fall. Going to have some really nice compost for next spring's plantings. Still more stuff to cut back - major changes to how the place looks. Cleaner.
Quick break for some apple slices with peanut butter and a diet Pepsi (I'm still too white for Coca Cola). Need to clean and sharpen my pruning shears tonight or tomorrow. Mixing up some more acid to spray on the horsetails - lots of them around. 10% muriatic acid in water with a squooge of dish soap to cut the surface tension works wonders. Add the acid to the water - just like you aught'er.
Always something to do.
Sometimes that can be sitting by the water and basking in the quiet deep energy, peace and light.
