The good news - Hurricane Ida

The Levees held - flooding was just from rainfall.

Bad news?  The electricity is going to be out for several more weeks. And, they have some really hot weather moving in.

Stories are starting to trickle in - lots of emergency responders out there, lots of traffic on ham radio bands. The Cajun Navy is stepping up to the plate again. Big difference between city dwellers and country folk. I was born and raised in a city and you will never get me back in one for more than a visit. They make me itch.
