Not just a "horse de-wormer" - Ivermectin's anti-viral properties are well established. It is also cheap and harmless to mammals so even if it does not work, it will do no harm and cost pennies. I have some and have been taking a dose every other week - have not had a cold or any other illness in two years. Works for me.
