Basically, if you owned property with water anywhere, that was considered to be a "Navigable Waterway" and you were severly restricted on what you could do with it.
The decision today restricts that to bodies of water that are contiguously connected to actual waterways - rivers, lakes, etc...
A very good decision and it clips the wings of the EPAs powers. None of them are elected - they should not be able to "legislate" things like this. They are supposed to advise Congress and it is up to Congress to make the laws...
